* Global Advantage Award

A one-time C$2,000 credit will be reflected in your Account Summary as Anticipated Aid 3–5 business days after you accept an offer by March 31, 2026. This credit is applied towards your first semester fees, reducing the amount due by C$2,000. Students may receive this award only once, even if enrolled in multiple programs.

** International Entrance Scholarship

Awarded to students who begin Year 1, Semester 1, of an academic program. The scholarship is awarded in two installments during your first year of study. Further information, including the exact scholarship amount and allocation, will be confirmed on your Letter of Acceptance.

Pathway and achievement awards

Onshore English Language Pathway

Awarded to international applicants who meet eligibility requirements and complete an English language program at Sheridan or an authorized pathway partner in Canada, before enrolling directly in a full-time academic program.

Degree Pathway

Awarded to international applicants who meet eligibility requirements and are transferring into the second, third or fourth year of a bachelor’s degree program at Sheridan, based on previous postsecondary education.

Degree Achievement

Awarded to international students who meet eligibility requirements and are in their second, third and fourth year of a Sheridan bachelor’s degree program, subject to a minimum GPA of 3.6 (80%) in the preceding year of study at Sheridan in the same program.

Eligibility Requirements

To receive and retain any scholarship or award, you must:

  • Accept your offer according to the instructions on your Letter of Acceptance for the Winter 2026, Spring 2026 or Fall 2026 intake.
  • Pay the required fees as outlined in the Fee Estimate by the fee deadline indicated. Payment of full fees is required to access the course schedules.
  • Register and remain enrolled as a full-time*** international student paying international fees past the withdrawal deadline (the 10th day of classes) for the awarded start term. If you are receiving the Sheridan Global Advantage Award for a future term, it cannot be used to pay down your current or previous balance owing.
    • Awards will be applied to your account balance after the 10th day of classes.
  • Not receive a partial or full refund of the fees paid for the awarded start term.

*** Students are considered to have a full-time course load if they are enrolled in at least 70% of the required credits or 66.67% of the required courses for their program of study in a given semester. Students who have a confirmed disability status with Sheridan’s Accessible Learning Services by day 10 of each term are considered to have a full-time course load if they are enrolled in at least 40% of the credits or courses required for the program of instruction in a given semester.

If these conditions are not met, the scholarships and/or awards will be revoked.

Scholarships and awards are non-refundable. If a scholarship or award results in an overpayment of fees, the excess funds will be automatically applied to the fees for the next semester.

Scholarships and awards above do not require a separate application.
