The deadline to apply to graduate for the Winter 2026 semester is April 17, 2026.
How to apply to graduate
- Log in to myStudentCentre.
- In your dashboard, select the "Academic Records" tile.
- In the left-hand sidebar, select "Application for Graduation."
- Click the box to the left of "Select to Apply," then click "Apply" at the bottom-right corner of the page. Follow the steps to complete your application to graduate.
What happens after I apply to graduate?
Once you have applied to graduate, the Office of the Registrar will evaluate your graduation eligibility. An audit is completed once final grades and standings are official, with the academic decision confirming your eligibility to graduate from program studies.
Eligible students who apply to graduate by the April 17, 2026 deadline will be cleared to graduate and will receive an email invitation to attend our Spring/Summer 2026 convocation.
All students who have been confirmed to graduate will automatically receive their Confirmation of Graduation (graduation/completion) letter by email once their credential has been officially conferred by the Board of Governors. This conferral process typically occurs several months after the official program completion date. Please continue to monitor your Sheridan email, as the team is actively processing all graduation applications.
Please note: If you don't apply to graduate by the deadline, you will not be awarded your credential and you'll miss the opportunity to participate in your convocation ceremony.
